Robert is a 15 year old, he is strapped to a gurney awaiting an operation to correct an extreme error in judgement. Robert, as heavyset as he was at 15, tackled a guy in football that weighed 100 lbs more than he did... ripping the tendon in his pinky and crippling it...

The nurses give him Valium... "dont worry" the doctor says "with the stuff we are going to be giving you, you could watch the operation an giggle the whole way through!"

They apply a pressure cuff to my arm to remove the blood, then a lidocaine solution is poured into the cold arm...

Robert does not even recognize his doctor the next time he sees him....
