Those are interesting figures.

We have a lot of complainers here in the US. But weve had many years of very low inflation, very low interest rates (right now real interest rates--IE rate less inflation & GDP Growth--are negative accross the yield curve), we have full employment (5.9% unemployment), 4+ million jobs are lost and found each and every month showing just how flexible the US workforce is, the stock market is up 65%+ since its lows in 2002-2003, and immigrents are flocking to our country in numbers that are far higher than anytime in our history, even the manufacturing sectors are improving...I could go on and on, but the most unbelievable thing is that all of this is happening while the Fed is tightening, 65% of our cash is floating off-shore (and that number is growing), oil and many other commodity prices have spiked, and we have been giving away 10% of our economy each year in the form of a growing trade deficit.

The US economy is the most resiliant economy in history. Capitalism is taking over the world.

But there is a Republican in office so all that we see is doom and gloom on the news, and sob stories about Aunt Mable's health problems from the Democrats in Congress.

Remember how some big eared politician loved to scare people with nightmares of a "Giant Sucking Sound"? Well guess what, there is a giant sucking sound! All the worlds best, brightest, and most ambitious workers are being sucked into the USA!
