This was made from a mosaic of images
Each of which has Hubble's unique degree of resolution. If you printed the original images (rather than this low-res pic) on a 10'x10' canvas and stared at sections of it from 1 foot away, it would still be incredibly detailed. There is a lot more information in it than in past pics of Crab.
