If you'd shown that little guy some kindness and he'd have been your friend forever. He'd never have talked about you behind your back, he'd never have betrayed your trust, he would have gone right to the wall for you.
Thus proving, of course, that the world's ugliest dog is a helluva lot more beautiful than the world's most attractive person.
