Why don't they go for broke?

I haven't seen the article "How We'll Get to Mars" yet, Chris. I think they're afraid to talk about it - particularly the nuclear engines.

My own view is identical to the French view: Griffin's plan shows a lack of vision.

By why not go for broke, and bluntly talk about how we'll get to Mars with this?
