Tom, this one really doesn't surprise me. When a place hits rock bottom like Afghanistan did, anything is better. I'll bet you believe the non-conservatives are rooting for failure there. Furthest thing from the truth. Most I know were solidly behind the invasion of Afghanistan. If anything the critcism was that we didn't do enough or go in soon enough.

Of course to a war-monger like yourself any military success justifies all others so I'm certain your post was intended not to celebrate any successes in Afghanistan but to rub in what you perceive as the wisdom of the administration in attacking there. To a black and white thinker as you've obviously proven lately, that equates to proof that everything they do is right on. Consider this. Any president that didn't go into Afghanistan after 9/11 would've been hung from a yardarm. It wasn't rocket science to make that move, only political reality.
