Small arms fire = snipers

Two of the soldiers were killed by small-arms fire southwest of the capital, the U.S. command said in a statement. The others died in a roadside bombing in the Sunni neighborhood of Azamiyah and by small arms fire north of the city, the command said.

No further details were released.

There's no defense against snipers.

JUBA: Video of legendary Iraqi sniper "in action"

released by Ernesto Cienfuegos La Voz de Aztlan

Los Angeles, Alta California - December 1, 2005 - (ACN) The following Iraqi insurgent video of "Juba" in action is not for the faint-hearted! It is extremely painful to watch. The tally for the "Baghdad Sniper" is now 163 USA occupation soldiers killed. This total includes 9 US military officers and 4 US special operations snipers. The number of Juba's victims is more than 10% of all GI casualties.

The video makes a few things readily apparent concerning the USA war against the people of Iraq. The first is the painful reality of how vulnerable occupation soldiers are while operating within a hostile population that does not want them there. Juba has been extraordinarily successful in Baghdad because he is operating within a friendly population that is providing him some cover. As you watch each GI slump down dead in the video, pay close attention to the Iraqi civilians and their behavior. These civilians aren't exactly anxious to point to the "Baghdad Sniper" after he takes his lethal shot. Some look outright happy that another occupier has been killed. Under these circumstances, GIs patrolling Baghdad are nothing less than "sitting-ducks"!

Another apparent fact while watching the video is that it does not matter how much "armor" or technology the occupier has. One patient sniper and one accurate bullet is all it takes to paralyze an entire tank squad. This is shown in the video when Juba repeatedly hits his targets as US tank gunners poke their heads up from tank turrets.

The video also exposes as cowards the warmongers in the USA that are cheering-on these GIs in Iraq. They are not the ones taking a shot on the forehead. Many are Republican Party elected officials who never served in the military and make sure that their sons and daughters never do either. They only want to profit monetarily from the war. The worst of these warmongers are paid pundits on the radio waves. Among these are Sean Hannity and Al Rantel. Hannity prides himself of being a "patriot' and "a great American" yet he has never served his country in the military. He is quick to defend Bush's war yet he has evaded serving in the US Armed Forces at every turn. Another, lesser known radio jock, is Al Rantel of Los Angeles. This individual acts real brave on the radio concerning the Iraq war. He calls people who oppose the war unpatriotic and cowards. The fact is Rantel is an out-of-the-closet homosexual who is not even wanted in the military. Disney Radio KABC has never-the-less allowed this sodomite to continue warmongering over the airwaves at the expense of US soldier lives. This is what the USA has become.
