Interesting.

Thanks to that article, I now understand the concept of "social" bookmarking. Not sure whether I want to go there...

Here's my lineup: Enhanced History Manager; Flashblock; SmoothWheel; Disable Targets for Downloads; Yahoo! Mail Notifier; Forecastfox.

Flashblock is essential, a.f.a.I.c. -- Flash apps are the only ads basic Firefox doesn't know how to disable. Flashblock replaces them with a "play" button. If, as I sometimes do, you visit flash-intensive sites (for instance, promotional sites for movies), they load a hell of a lot faster, and you can choose which gimmick to watch.

BTW:

When you upgrade to FF 1.5, the startup routine automatically searches for extension and theme upgrades. "BugMeNot" isn't available -- in fact, a search of the Extensions pages at Mozilla comes up blank for it, so the developer must've pulled the old version.

And while I was there just now, checking on it, I found another to add: "PDF Download". Don't know how useful it is yet.
