Nope, I'm not making this up.

Historical illiteracy emerges from lands where illiteracy dominates.

Much like the "moon was a hoax" folks, let enough time pass for historically illiterate folks and denial is quite easy. Soon folks can say WWII was just a few skirmishes and hyped up by some historians.

Really sad -because they really believe it.
