there are some Christians that believe teaching pacifism is the main tenant of Christianity

of course Jesus teaches us much more than than just Pacifism...And I really doubt that Jesus would have been on the side of Sadam, Uday, Qsay, and the French in the Iraqi War.

Christianity does not equal pacifism: It is possible to support the war on terrorism and still be a good Christian. Likewise you could be a pacifist and be a terrible Christian.

If a person was an extreem pacifist, he might decide that placing a church building in an otherwise secular neighborhood or near a public school might be offensive to non-believers...Clearly that would hinder the ability of other christians to worship freely. Such a person might view himself as a good Christian, but I would not veiw him as such. I really doubt Jesus would either...I never heard Jesus preach that temples should be hidden from public view.

Some "Christians" take pacifism so extreemly that they actualy think it is wrong to say (or believe) that Jesus is devine. Such "Christians" may be good pacifists, but if they don't think Jesus was devine are they really even Christians?
