seismic studies?
I know we put seismographs on the moon; is there any discussion of doing this on Mars? An array of linked geophones distributed on the surface? Since there are few (if any, in usable time scales) natural sources of seismic waves, they'd have to be created.
My question, since I rarely deal with seismic in my hard-rock work, would the ice-water phase change register as a reflector?
