Whatever side you may be on, one tactical fact is clear: The US forces are stretched too thin right now. Iran is well aware of our struggles with Iraq, so of course they are going to start flexing their muscles, just to see how far they can get.

I wonder if we'll be seeing the draft implemented to handle this latest threat? Or will it come to a nuclear strike by either or both sides (including Israel) before then?

And don't tell me that North Korea isn't paying very close attention to all this. As is China.

It will be interesting to see if we have a "terrorist" attack in the near future, coming right on the heels of Bush and Cheney warning that the outing of the wiretaps and blockage of the Patriot Act will weaken us before our enemies.
