Your Right to Be an Idiot

I read this earlier today, wishing I’d written it by the time I’d gotten to the third paragraph.

All of us can take a lesson from Mr Long’s comments, including me. I hold the right to Free Speech as nearly Sacrosanct, the very basic foundation of a free society.

Without it we would be doomed as a free society. I know some of the participants here will claim we’ve lost that right to some extent. Repeating their past opinions that the “Government of [insert your current favored applicable term] has curtailed that right to near nothing.

I disagree, the exposure of Federal interception of personal communications of late is a shining example of this.
