Do you think that if Albert Einsten was alive, he would not have thought of these? Or Tsiolkovsky, or Goddard...
If the "methods" had any value...
Launching from the summit of Muana Kea, with a rebound provided by a pipe Launcher, and a couple of trebuchets would shave 2 % off the launch budget... Probably.
It would likely add 10 m% to launch costs, unless we were already in the future era where huge payloads were regularly launched...
And, for those who disagree, explain why not, and why, in any case the difference is worth more than 10%....
