50 is small?

I run a network of 25 PCs, 1 server and 1 network storage box. All in one location. I can't imagine trying to coordinate multiple branches.

What's nice is most of the time the stuff just works right. Its the rare occasions when things quit working for no reason that drive the stress levels up. For some reason December is always a time of computer strangeness. Pretty good timing, since its outr slowere time of the year. My Server that pushes Symantec Antivirus updates to all the clients decided on December 22 to quit pushing out updates. I had a new release since early last year unopened that I hadn't deployed since it was incompatible wioth the earlier versions and I didn't have time to fix something that wasn't broken. Well the fact that it was now broken motivated me to open the box and update all the machines. Most of the machines were OK, but I still have 2 machines that Norton won't release its deathgrip on. So today I fought back by formatiing the hard drive on one of them. I'll probably get to the next one tomorrow.
