Castro was populist, not communist, but the Mafia, gambling, prostitution had such an influence that the US rejected his revolution. He had no choice but to turn to the Soviets.

Of course, conservatives would absolutely LOVE Batista. When at all convenient, he ignored democracy, freedom, human rights, all that's ignored by US conservatives.

Now, how many Americans died fighting Castro, how many died fighting in Vietnam? And the US recognizes Vietnam, trades with Vietnam, treats Vietnam with a great deal of respect. Hell, they even make tennis shoes in Vietnam.

What hypocrisy, again. By conservatives.

You guys never read history, live yer lives based upon the propaganda with which you grew up. Haven't matured since age 12. Which is sad.
