The first one we've seen. "He gave money to Dems, too!!" ( Amd Clinton was worse!)
Second: "Why are you dredging up this old stuff - been through it, nothing new." (You should remember what Clinton did!)
Third: "Everyone has always done it - simply political to pick on Abramoff." (Clinton hired most of the Department of Justice lawyers.)
Fourth: "The financial situation of successful politicians is so complex they can't be expected to follow every nuance." (Clinton did it knowingly!)
Fifth: "I sent $1 to DeLay hoping he'd vote for the Bush tax cut. Does that mean I bribed him?" (A dollar sent to Clinton WAS a bribe. Could've bought him for a quarter.)
Last: Bush will pardon him, DeLay, Rove, Libby, et al and therefore they will all be innocent, never having been convicted of anything. Like that Lt. Colonel who lied, forget his name. (Look at all the people Clinton pardoned.)
And some of 'em will just ignore it. Maybe it'll just go away.

We could write it! Otherwise, they'll wait for Limbaugh to spread the word.
