I recall reading that cosmonauts who lost things on Mir just looked at the grills on the air circulation system, as that is where most small items ended up.
Nice image, Robert. Certainly a level of detail one seldom sees outside of having been a cosmonaut or visiting astronaut. I did not realize how many little "idols" the stuck around the station.
