The Leftist Movement in America takes great pride in never having been wrong about anything since the 1930s. After the massive self-delusion the movement had to engage in when the truth about Marxism became unavoidable, the kind of logical gymnastics required to show that somehow a free Iraq is a worse place than it was under Saddam would be a piece of cake for them.

Again, go down the list of liberals and leftists who still think Castro has done great things for Cuba. Normally, you'd think suppressing reality to that level would require an actual lobotomy, but most pro-Castro leftists don't even break a sweat.

I can confidently predict that even if, fifteen years from now, Iraq is as free and prosperous as Japan, Bowser will still call it a waste of lives and money. The farthest most leftists might come would be to state with great confidence that a Democrat would have done it faster, cheaper, and with no loss of life.
