I agree that not only should this be looked into---which could happen during a Bush administration; but it should be corrected by restrictive legislation---which will never happen under a "patriot act" driven Bush administration.

It is time for you to realize there is no comfort zone for a Libertarian in the Republican party when it comes to Fourth Amendement issues. Under the Republican party, the concept of a rule of law is incompatabile with the concept of authority to dominate the lives of individuals subject to government authority.
