Riding on a planet of a star that got flung out when its galaxy collided with another. Watching the slow receding of those two star islands.

M31 is supposed to collide with our Milky Way Galaxy in about 6 billion years. I wonder what will happen to us. I know the odds of us getting hit by another star are slim, but will we stay with the MWG or end up in intergalactic space?
