I observed that modern economies are thoroughly gamed and manipulated by a relatively small number of players, which has the same negative effects that you lament when it's government doing the manipulating. A market in which a small number of players wield vast influence is not a free market, whether it's the government distorting it or private individuals and corporations.

You keep falling back on the bizarre accusation that I'm advocating socialism or something like that, but that's soooo wrong. I'm advocating free markets. I'd love to see America adopt a free market system, but first we have to get rid of the oligarchy that's running the present system.
