I was working on the server last night around the time of your post, and at one point the system got hung up transferring a huge ZIP file containing the Zone data archive. The Task Manager CPU graph was pinned for several long minutes, but fortunately Windows managed to get unstuck and I didn't have to reboot. I'm always a little nervous about rebooting because I do it remotely, and sometimes rebooting while the system is having problems like that can cause it to hang permanently and not come back after a reboot. Then I have to track down the ISP Guy and convince him to physically reset the server. All in all, I save rebooting for a last resort or when it's required to install an update.
