Create a breeding ground for terrorists, create more terrorists, increase the actuality and liklihood of terrorist attacks, increase nuclear proliferation and the liklihood of a dirty bomb.

Then there is a permanent reason infringe upon civil liberties, spend money on the military-industrial complex, not spend money on domestic programs. Meets the conservative agenda completely.
