Today's NASA
I hear you. I took my son there a couple of years ago. I was very disappointed I had to wait in an hour long line to go see NASA. Prior to 9/11, we always parked at NASA and strolled the grounds freely. I always enjoyed strolling around the pond they have in the center of the building complex.
Sometime we could even get into the pool area where the astronauts train underwater, or even into mission control if there wasn’t a mission going on. Once I got to see the Shuttle simulators.
Have you seen this;Houston’s Saturn V is being restored! There are some really neat pictures on that site.
