But while I was still in MO, I read enough about Blunt that I would join Dale Franks' resounding unendorsement.

Roy's boy, Matt, is the current governor of Missouri -- the one who spent the first year of his term gutting $90 million out of the state's Medicare enrollment, and who called a special session of the legislature for important stuff like making it a felony to "assist" a minor to get an abortion in a neighboring state where parental consent is not manditory.

Roy, on the other hand, divorced Matt's mommy and married a tobacco lobbyist. Talk about politics and bedfellows... last time I read anything about it in the KC Star, there were rumors galore about how deeply Rep. Plunt and Rep. DeLay were in each other's pockets -- which makes the reported waving-off of the Abramoff Affair all the more predictable.
