Moondust supposedly smells like gunpowder
What does iron oxide smell like?
I'm just waiting for some future lunar colonist to wake up one day and say "I love the smell of moondust in the morning!"
Actually, if it's as barbed, clinging, and just overall nasty as they say it is, won't breathing moondust be a health hazard?
The entire outside surface area of the base may have to be covered in durable plastic sheets. Explorers and vehicles coming from beyond the base will have to stop at a shelter where they have to clean everything off, then head back to the base via a tunnel.
