Global Flyer hits bird on takeoff
I watched the video twice -- it seems clear
he had a major bird-strike midway along his
left wing, as viewed from the end-of-runway
camera. Hope the drag and fuel integrity
have not beern compromised -- it was a low
velocity impact, but....
