re: Lunar occultation of Spica on February 17, 2006

Thanks, LJK.

I just happened to catch Venus this morning.

Venus is VERY bright before sunrise (and it was rare for me to get up two hours before sunrise this am). It was worth it. I looked some of that info up on the web this morning. Seems that Pluto can be seen too (binocs & scope!)

This site shows highlights for this month from the Spica occultation to highlights on Mercury, Venus... Celestial Evens for February, 2006. Good info and I'm glad we're having clear skies for a change!
