Living in Texas my whole life, I know all about hunting. I do not hunt and I never have, but members of my Family do. My Brother works in the ER at a hospital near Dallas. He said they get lots of trauma relating to hunting accidents.

Hunting accidents happen all the time. It is a dangerous sport. A few months ago, a man accidentally killed his granddaughter while shooting at a wild boar.

Cheney was probably following the bird in his scope, and he fired just as his lawyer friend came into view. It was a stupid accident that happened with a dangerous activity.

Personally, I don’t like hunting. I would rather shoot wildlife with my camera. And I really can’t feel sorry for hunters who get hurt while doing their stupid sport.

As far as not having a license, I can criticize the man. I have gone fishing a few times without a fishing license (If I happen to catch a fish, which is rare, I let it go).
