Shock-wave Cosmology inside a Black Hole (full text)
In spite of not understanding much of what they are saying in this article, I still think my version is better, more vivid. In my view, the event horizon IS the shockwave -- a thin massive spherical shell with a radius exactly equal to the Schwarzschild radius. On the outside of the black hole it appears to be barely changing because the black hole rarely pulls in any significant mass. But nearer to the event horizon, gravity would be stronger, and time would be dilated more according to general relativity. The rate of infalling matter would appear to be much greater, and one would have to seriously kick in the afterburners to outrun the event horizon as it expands. If one were actually inside the event horizon, time would be infinitely dilated and the event horizon suck in the entire outside universe, then expand to the corresponding radius. The effects of this would be visible only at a relativistically observable rate, that is subluminal. Due to the relativistic length contraction, the event horizon would appear to be a thin shell, and due to doppler shift it would appear to be receding outward at close to lightspeed. In spite of possessing the entire mass of the universe it would not exert net force upon its interior because of its hollow shape. Only the mass of the original supernova would exist internally. The event horizon would possess immense temperatures and pressures, reducing all complex matter it absorbed to its primordial forms, recycling and reprocessing all the matter in the universe -- resetting the process of creation to the beginning. Meanwhile spacetime would snap back to normal within its shell, time would no longer be dilated, space would no longer be contracted. The only evidence that we would be inside a black hole would be an estimate of the mass of the visible universe, and perhaps the CMB which is actually a perfect blackbody spectrum better than any that can be produced in a laboratory. The event horizon emits Hawking radiation both internally and externally, both gamma rays and virtual particles. But any particles emitted externally are doomed to be recaptured. Internally emitted they form clumps of baryonic matter (galaxies) and also microwave background radiation.
Most of my ideas crash and burn, so I expect to be wrong. Instead of supporting arguements it would be better if someone could come up with an arguement that disproves it, or at least casts doubt. I use simple equations, special relativity and newtonian gravity. Nothing fancy.
