I have never seen a quake in the Gulf.

A magnitude 5.2 earthquake rattled the US Gulf of Mexico late Thursday, some 200 kilometres (125 miles) off the Louisiana coast, the US Geological Survey announced Friday.
The quake, which occurred at 10:14 pm (0414 GMT), was registered 255 kilometres (160 miles) from the hurricane-ravaged city of New Orleans, at a depth of 10 kilometres (six miles).
