Try Mojave airport
There are a lot of stored airliners there. I visited the place in 1988 and saw some very cool airplanes along with the mothballed airliners. It isn't everywhere that you can see an F-4 with civilian "N" numbers and privately owned jet fighters like an F-104. It's the home of Burt Rutan and Scaled Composites, too.
Instead of buying an old and expensive 747, why not have Burt design and build something custom for you? As a pilot, that's my lotto fantasy.
