I can't really see what the big deal is... They want to invest some of their oil wealth back in the USA, why not let them.

Protectionism is for fools and suckers. Especially if it is based on Racial Profiling of Arabs.

As I see it, there can't be enough free trade, and we should welcome with open arms those Arabs who are playing by the Free-trade rules.

Of course the Democrats are doing everything they can to undermine the USA and her allies in the War on Terror, so I'm not really suprised that they would object to Arab investment in the USA.
