Many of the banks in the UAE have Royal sponsors/owners. The accounts themselves are not Royal themselves (do you think they would be THAT stupid?). It is a widespread belief in the UAE that there is an accomdation between the governments here, Al Qaeda and various hostitle groups - but not all. UAE special forces are in Afghanistan etc.
