Northern Iraq

How about some of Iraq making a lot of progress. Quote:
"Look at all the glass in Iraqi Kurdistan. Who in their right mind would build a city that looks like this if they weren’t sure car bombs, rockets, and bullets are a thing of the past?"

I think all of Iraq is going to make a lot more progress in next coming years. But in terms of a good stable progressive democracy I think Afghanistan will make surer steps in this direction- Iraq will probably be remain chaotic even when the violence lessens.
