This bulletin board works differently from most of them. I wish to be able to cut and paste information from some other source into a thread on this BB and denote the quote (as opposed to my own stuff) in color. I have found it impossible to do so because this BB automatically add a
and
pair around each paragraph defined by a doubled [newline] character.
I have discovered that the pair will permit one to highlight all text between them regardless of the embedded
and
pairs. But font color reverts to the default style specified in the style sheet underlying the BB as soon as a double [newline] is encountered. This effect is demonstrated in the current post.
Can anyone suggest a method of pasting a quote so that the entire quote is in a different font color without introducing HTML commands in the middle of the quote?
Any suggestions?
Technical problem.
