re: A couple of March highlights

Comet Pojmanski rises to the right of and along with Venus around 5:00 am earlier this week making it a easy binocular sighting if you have an unobstructed view. Current estimated Mag around 6.5 at 15 degrees before the sun rises on the west coast and rising earlier and higher as the days go but fading in Mag. so try and get your views sooner than later. Reading claims of tails visible and we haven't had one of those in a while.

A couple Leo radiant meteor events happening through March too.

If you are a dedicated or lucky meteor observer there's a daylight March Aquarids shower max. 15-18 per hour.

Mercury will only be viewable for a couple more days during sunset following the sun closely making it hard to catch as usual.

Weather's wet here.
