Some Space Shuttle Challenger Trivia related to John Denver.
Some trivia I heard about this today for the first time. John Denver was supposed to ride on the Challenger in January of 1986.
He was a popular candidate to be the first civilian in space. He would have traveled on the Challenger space shuttle, but a twist of fate prevented him from joining that ill-fated 1986 mission.
Ironically, he died while flying. Was he and avid aviator?
I miss John. I liked his music.
