Acquiring those lands would require moving out the current inhabitants.
Considering the majority of the Palestinian population voted in a government that has the destruction of Israel as priority #1, Finding a rational to remove them shouldn't be hard. If push comes to shove, it's not going to be very hard for Israel to clear out a few hundred square miles of mostly flat land. Israel will not be secure without the West Bank. It needs that land to have a viable territory.
