Maybe its "floater" mating season...

They're migrating to lower latitudes to spawn.

By "floater", I mean Sagan's conceptual lifeform that lives in the upper atmosphere of gas giants. An episode of Cosmos I saw last night reminded me of the notion. I made a tentative search for a URL on the topic, but alas I failed. Anyone?
