GRACE space mission finds significant Antarctic ice loss

"The researchers found Antarctica's ice sheet decreased by 152 (plus or minus 80) cubic kilometers of ice annually between April 2002 and August 2005. "

Spaceflight Now

If we had a source of fresh water, and the budget, we could pump water over the ice sheet during the winter, artificially depositing layers of snow or ice. It would take a hundred pipelines each transporting 48.2 cu. meters (12,733 gallons) of water every second, and depositing it evenly over the land to compensate for Antarctic ice loss.

Good luck with that.
