They are not behind my personal distrust of Arabs.
That prejudice has been around along time. Probably since the Iran hostage crisis in 1979. I can try to blame the media for it, but it comes back to me.
I want to give Arabs the benefit of the doubt and trust them, but it is hard. I know they are not all bad, but the ones that make the news seem to do so because of violence and death. Maybe some positive press of Arabs doing good things would help.
