Towards the beginning of the Balkan War, Croatia was wanting to split Bosnia down the middle with Serbia. This would've had the effect of creating a Greater Croatia and Greater Serbia with little bloodshed, save for the small minority population of Bosnian Muslims, who were being fought by Croats and Serbs alike. Instead of taking this sensible course, he choose a war with everyone, and in the end he lost everything.
