Definitely one of the poorer SF flicks of recent years. Lame plot,
awful music, and surprisingly substellar acting from actors who are
usually quite good.

I think it tried to be a "modern" 2001: A Space Odyssey, but M2M
just added further proof how unique that classic film was and is.
