You just don't seem to get it, Tom. We already know what you think. Your repeating it ad nauseam isn't going to change anybody's mind, and it certainly isn't going to change national policy. Give it a rest. It sounds like you're really trying to convince yourself, and that is really embarassing to have to watch.
However, if you insist on climbing on the soapbox, you can't expect us to politely oblige you with the validating debate you crave every time you want it. You're just going to have to put up with the occasional rotten tomato.
