Wow, just had a _great_ view of ISS. No idea there would be a pass over Kansas City tonight, I just happened to look up and see it.

I was just out for a walk in late twilight, very clear sky. Looked up after making a turn towards home and there was this brilliant thing high up there, moving past Orion's knees, considerably brighter than Sirius and clearly not an airplane (whiter color than landing lights, no flashing red beacon). Great view as it slowly set into the SE, visible but slightly dimming as it sank below the houses, a big bright Moon rising just at the edge of the view to the left.

By the time I got home, less than 1/2 mile, ISS was already over Cuba.
