The positive energy balance of ethanol is still open to debate
What is not debatable is that ethanol is a better choice than hydrogen. And, there is already a fast, safe, one-seat car that runs on alcohol (methanol). I am totally in favor of this type of car, it's got acceleration, speed, and superior handling. There may come a day when I have something similar parked in my driveway!
