Current Events » in reply to UN reports greenhouse gases at highest level ever recorded

For sure. Global warming is real, and human greenhouse gasses are contributing.

The questions are:

1. How much do human greenhouse gasses contribute when compared to the other factors?

2. What can be done to reduce greenhouse gasses with minimal economic effects?

3. Why is nothing actually being done?

4. What to do about #3?

However, it must be recognized that the Earth's climate is inherently unstable, and either melting of the polar caps or the onset of another ice age (or both) will come eventually, no matter what we do. The best that we can do is:
1. Minimize our own contribution to climate change.
2. Prepare for gradual (and not so gradual) climate change.
