Awwww gawd! The first time I was stunned into immobility and watched it all the way through, and only felt like hurling a second later, when it sank in what I'd just seen. Ever since, as soon as it comes on I switch the channel or look away from the screen. That is disgusting!

Not to be entirely negative, have you seen the "Adult Swim" hours on The Cartoon Network? They work the dissonant imagery and words in their own promos, but it has a classy, artistic feel to it when they do it. Very avant-garde, and a lot of it's smart and witty. High-brow on a cartoon channel's itself a dissonant concept, but there it is. The genre has come a long way since Walt Disney...or maybe full circle, of interest to adults again now that it's matured into a rich art form.
